DS: Do you think, for the sake of their careers, gay or lesbian actors should stay in the closet?

FAG: A large part of the gay and lesbian population is still in the closet because they have no one to look up to. They do not know gay people can be successful and well respected in their field too. With more established actors coming out I think it would give young people a better idea of what is like to be out and proud. And if you are talented enough people will still cast you in a role, whether it is gay or straight. Acting is about being something completely different from who you are and be convincing, right.

FAG HAG: Sometimes talent has nothing to do with being cast in a role. It’s about sure-fire box-office hits. No studio wants to take a chance on casting a gay actor if it means that women won’t be lining up to sit in the cinemas while they croon over delusional fantasies of his head between their legs. Openly gay director Todd Holland also said similar stuff in a forum to young, gay male actors stipulating that staying in the closet was a necessary career choice if they wanted to succeed in Hollywood. Think about this… if you held down a big career job that had incredible career opportunities, but on the side you liked a little Charlie up your nose, would you go into the office and openly snort lines in front of everyone?

DS: In recent years this dilemma is similar in Sports with sportsman even committing suicide than face being ‘OUT’ in a supposedly homophobic environment. How do you think homophobia in sports could be tackled?

FAG: The sports world is homophobic because, as everyone already knows, straight men are extremely insecure around us. They think just because we are butt naked with them in the locker room we want to eat them alive. We need to let those people know that we are not interested in your body odour issue, in fact having us around means you will get some tips about deodorant! See… The sports world can be friendly between the gays and the straights. It’s all about the moisturiser.

FAG HAG:Look, lets be realistic here, despite popular culture creating a forum for gay and lesbian people, the sports world still remains cloistered in its own heterosexist cluster. Many gay sports people don’t come out for fear of losing their livelihood, having their team-mates turn against them and their coach discriminate, and despite a slow seed of change emerging, there is still a dichotomy of hypocrites who say they don’t have a problem with gay-athletes, but actually can’t stand within ten-feet of them in the locker room. Education, self-awareness and changing herd mentality – if one team member accepts a gay athlete into the team, the rest will follow…

What current actors/actresses, sports men/women do you think are still in the closet?

FAG:Sorry Mr Editor but I am not naming names but they know who they are. Some people are okay with spending your entire life in a lie. Marry a fag hag, spend some hard earn Hollywood money for money boys and then spend the rest of your life wondering if someone would leak that sex tape you regret making…fine by me. Just so you know when that sex tape is leaked I will be the first one in line to buy.

FAG HAG: It’s not that easy for everyone to be so openly gay. People have to deal with family issues, religion, peers, work-colleagues, team-mates etc. I have a few gay friends back home that I’ve known for more than 15 years, that haven’t come out yet – and they’re in their 40s. I wish I could change it, but I can’t… the one thing I can do is understand it and stop passing judgement while I sit on my self-righteous throne pegging stones at glass houses.

Darn it! I was hoping at least one of you would be bitchy enough to name names… Okay…fine… Ricky Martin and Kevin Spacey for sure! There, done it (.Ed).
